Grammarics' Pictorial Grammar Guide - Review and Giveaway!

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever" - Mahatma Gandhi

I started this post by quoting Gandhi's words. It's very true. Learning is a never ending process.

I got the opportunity to review "Grammarics' Pictorial Guide To Common Errors In English Usage". Once I started reading the e-book, I was hooked on. I couldn't divert my mind, until I completed the reading. This is such a practical book with pictures that explains commonly committed mistakes in our day-to-day English usage.

Excellent way to teach kids who are learning Grammar. Its fun and easy to understand. For us adults, this is an useful handy guide to practical English grammar.

For example, take a look at this picture and explanation:

This is just an example from the book. The book covers 42 such concepts. We all make mistakes sometimes when we converse, write, mail, e-mail, etc. This is such a revival guide to our Grammar and a starting point to teach kids. Anyone can read the book and gain confidence.

You can download the book once you make a payment to the website and read at your convenience on your tablet, phone, laptop, etc. There are posters of these concepts available to buy here

I wish I had found this earlier... would've used this book when I was volunteering as a literacy tutor last summer, VITA (Volunteering In Teaching Adults) - English. No worries though, I'm planning to volunteer again when possible and will definitely use this book to teach Grammar!

If you are in US, you'll know there are opportunities to volunteer to teach English for adults at your library. If you do so, I recommend you to use this book.

Apart from that, this is an international giveaway (e-book).

One more example from the book:

Grammarics has offered to provide 5 copies of their E-book to my readers :) So there will be 5 winners for the e-book. Being a education related material, I din't want to have any mandatory rules or anything of that sort.. so does Grammarics :)

  1. I make mistakes all the time. Sometimes when I refer back to my blog articles, I feel quite embarrass but I take it as a learning process. After all, we have to start somewhere. That said, its a great book to support people like me who need to improve in writing. Certainly will appreciate a copy.
