Quick Channa Masala (non-gravy)

This is a quick recipe with some left over boiled channa. This is good for rice dishes.... or chapati if you don't mind the non gravy consistency :)

Number of servings: 2
Boiled white channa - 1 cup
Onion - 1 big
Tomato - 1 big
Ginger garlic paste - 1 spoon
Red chilli powder - 1 spoon
Coriander powder - 1/2 spoon

To temper:
Mustard seeds
Urad dal

  • Heat oil in a kadai and splutter the items to temper. Add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and saute
  • Add the tomatoes and saute well. Add the red chilli powder and coriander powder and saute
  • Add the boiled channa and salt and let it cook until done
