DIY: Chilli Sauce


Recently, I made a Indo-Chinese dish which required chili sauce. I din't have the sriracha sauce at home. So, decided to make it and use right away. I tried this recipe and it came out good. I would use it in Indo-Chinese recipes in place of chili sauce. The measurements are approximate and earned a couple of tablespoons, I suggest to try and adjust the levels to your taste.






Ingredients:
Red chilies - 4
Garlic - 3 pods
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Salt
Oil
Water - 1tbsp



Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add the red chilies and saute
  • Then add the garlic and saute
  • Add vinegar and water
  • Paste the content in blender and add salt. chili sauce is ready.
