Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake!!

I came across this recipe in the cover of Baker's semi-sweet chocolate and tried it. The result was a pleasing and blissful cake :)!!

Oreo cookies crushed - 1 1/2 cups (I removed the cream from the cookies)
Butter (melted) - 2 tbsp
8-ounce Philadelphia cream cheese packages - 3 (softened)
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Baker's semi-sweet chocolate - 1 package (melted)
Eggs - 3

  • Preheat oven to 325 F
  • Mix the crushed cookies with butter and press onto the pan (I used a simple 9 inch non-stick pan)
  • Beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla until well blended
  • Add chocolate and mix well. Then add one egg at a time and blend well
  • Pour this mixture over the crust
  • Bake for 55 minutes or until the center is set
  • Refrigerate the cake for 4 hours
Cheesecake is ready to serve!
