Coriander Chutney(Thuvaiyal)



This chutney goes well with Idly, dosai.. very simple:)

Ingredients:
Coriander leaves - a bunch (cut)
Onion - 1 (big)
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Red chilli - 3
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds
Urad dal
Oil

Method:
1. Heat oil add onion, red chilli and saute well.
2. When onion is translucent add the coriander leaves, coconut and saute and add salt
3. Blend the mixture with required water
4. Heat little oil, splutter mustard seeds, urad dal and add it to the chutney

  10. Wonderful Presentation with the stems! Though its a frequent dish on our table, I never saute the coconut! Will try out your way next time.
